PETER RIDES FOR CHARITY

27 Jun 2017 by Andrew Bozinovski

200+ game Super Magician Peter Haynes is riding for charity again in 2017. Last year he competed in the Great Cycling Challenge where together with his network of friends and family, raised over $3,000 to assist kids with cancer.

This year on the 4th of August he will be riding in Variety – the Children’s Charity of Australia Variety Spin 4 Kids, Newcastle’s first outdoor spin bike challenge to help raise money for Variety and the great work they do assisting children who need support.

Peter will be pedalling as hard as he can throughout this 6 hour cycling challenge to raise as much money as possible for very needy kids!

Why is he doing this?

Because every child deserves the chance to be the best they can be, to get the most out of life, regardless of their ability or background. For some families, having a child with special needs can be a life-long challenge.

Imagine if your child needed round-the-clock care that you just couldn’t afford. Or an expensive piece of medical equipment to help them walk or talk.

For children who are sick, disadvantaged or who have special needs, that place is Variety – the Children’s Charity. Each year, thousands of these children and their families turn to Variety for support when they need it most. And many more are waiting patiently for caring people like you to help them.

Variety is where families find help when government assistance isn’t available. When they can’t afford specialist care and equipment for their child. When there’s nowhere else to turn.

Your donation today will help change kids’ lives in ways you may never have imagined. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Peter has taken on this personal challenge to raise $500 to help these kids have a brighter future. Please support his challenge and join him in making a donation through his personal fundraising page. Even a small $1 contributes to the bigger picture!

All funds raised will go to Variety to continue their excellent work in the community. To view the event details, Pete’s training progress and most importantly to donate please visit his fundraising page below:
